ABOUT ALEX:

Alex is a Bachelor of Arts student studying Biology at the University of Mississippi with a passion for creating. Riding horses since a very young age, she has focused many of her artistic pursuits on them and finds peace in their gentleness and beauty. Not only does Alex focus on horses, but she extends her work into nature scenes and other animals. She finds immense peace in God’s creation, and believes that our creator has shown her that making art for others and sharing his goodness is something he has called her to do.

Graduating from Jackson Preparatory School in 2025, Alex completed Advanced Placement Art and earned two Scholastic Gold Key Awards and one Silver Key Award, having her work displayed at the Mississippi Museum of Art. Alex is experienced in and loves all mediums, but she mostly favors oil painting. She finds joy in painting nostalgic scenes, and is inspired by interactions of light and color.
